3) Acquired Keratosis: It is a secondary symptom to another skin disease such as eczema or psoriasis.

You will need: 1 teaspoon of sugar and 2 tablespoons of fresh cream

My opinion: I really loved this scrub, it was really effective and I had very good results quickly.
TREAT KERTOSIS PILARIS WITH COCONUT OIL:
You will need: 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of coconut oil
Mix the ingredients together and scrub the affected area with this mixture. Massage for a few minutes, leave on the skin for 15 minutes and rinse with warm water.
My opinion: It’s a little greasy and sticky but dint of doing it there is a real efficiency
TREAT KRATOSIS PILARIS WITH SEA SALT SCRUB:
Sea salt can help unclog pores and soften skin.
You will need : half a cup of olive oil and half a cup of sea salt
Mix the ingredients together, wet your skin and apply the mixture to your wet skin by rubbing gently. Rinse and apply a moisturizing cream. You can do it once or twice per week.
My opinion: It worked really slowly with me but I think it depends of your skin type
Treat Keratosis Pilaris – Medical Treatment
As always I propose medical solution if there are any. It turns out that for the problem of keratosis pilaris, there are some medical solutions. Of course, they are more expensive but if you have the means, it may be worth trying.
TREAT KERATOSIS PILARIS WITH PROFESONAL MICRODERMABRASION:
It is a chemical microdermabrasion that is very effective and can start a very good skin cure. This is done with glycolic acid between 20 and 30%. Thanks to this acid, it eliminates the rough dead skin and a brand new skin appears underneath with a better texture.
TREAT KERATOSIS PILARIS WITH LASER HAIR REMOVAL:
To treat keratosis pilaris there is also laser hair removal that can help. Indeed, if you have thick hair on the problem areas, the laser that will remove the hair will release the excess of keratin that is blocked by this thick hairs. I moisturize my skin very regularly with oil and cocoa butter without silicon because silicon prevents the good penetration of the product and can aggravate the problem. I prefer bath or shower with lukewarm water that doesn’t excess 10 minute than a bath or a shower with hot water which dry the skin. I exfoliate my skin without rubbing too hard at least twice a week.

It’s not easy to treat keratosis pilaris. It is mostly the body that controls this skin disease which is not serious. It took me a long time to treat keratosis pilaris but I succeeded.
